Grayson W. Redd – San Juan County Sheriff’s Office

Retired deputy Grayson W. Redd, 74, was arrested in 2024 and charged with multiple counts of child sexual abuse. The charges include three first-degree felony counts of rape of a child, three first-degree felony counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child, and eight second-degree counts of forcible sexual abuse. The alleged abuse occurred between 2003 and 2012, involving three male victims aged 11 to 18. Redd is accused of repeatedly touching the victims without consent and simulating intercourse over clothing. The San Juan County Sheriff’s Office urged additional victims to come forward.
