Jakob Streyle – Fairmont Police Department

Officer Jakob Streyle was involved in a fatal collision on July 10, 2019, while driving a police vehicle at high speed without activating emergency lights or siren. The crash resulted in the death of Steven Santini. A wrongful death lawsuit was filed against Streyle and the City of Fairmont, leading to a proposed settlement of $1.8 million in 2020.
