In 2014, Officer James Fazekas was involved in the incident where Officer Morgan tased Michelle Helm, who was handcuffed and lying face down. Officer Fazekas failed to intervene during this use of excessive force. The court found that his inaction contributed to the violation of Helm’s constitutional rights, resulting in a denial of qualified immunity.
