Lieutenant Jason Fraddosio, commander of the Nicholasville Police Department’s Special Response Team, was named in a lawsuit alleging failure to adequately train team members and implementing practices that escalated situations involving mental health crises. The lawsuit claims Fraddosio ordered the shooting of Desman LaDuke during a standoff on October 22, 2022, leading to LaDuke’s death.
