Jason R. Cadeau – Atlanta Police Department

In 2016, Officer Jason R. Cadeau shot and injured a man named Hall. APD fired Cadeau in May 2017 after an internal investigation found he had used excessive force. The Fulton County District Attorney’s office later indicted Cadeau, who was sentenced to 30 years on probation for the shooting. Hall and his wife filed a lawsuit against the City of Atlanta, former APD police chief George Turner, and Cadeau, which is still pending.
