Jeremy Decker – Syracuse Police Department

In January 2016, Officer Jeremy Decker was involved in the arrest of Tony Jennings, during which excessive force was allegedly used. The Citizens Review Board found that Decker engaged in racial profiling, used excessive force, and conducted an illegal search. The city settled the lawsuit for $500,000 in August 2023.
