Jimmy Hill – Samson Police Department

In July 2023, Police Chief Jimmy Hill was placed on paid administrative leave pending an internal investigation by city officials. In August, he received a termination letter detailing the findings of the investigation. On September 5, 2023, the Samson City Council rejected his letter of resignation and proceeded with his termination. The specific reasons for his termination have not been publicly disclosed.
