Joel Jenkins – Pike County Sheriff’s Office

In 2017, former Deputy Joel Jenkins pleaded guilty to reckless homicide in the 2015 fatal shooting of his neighbor, Jason Brady. Jenkins claimed the shooting occurred during a lesson on how to disarm someone. He was terminated from the Sheriff’s Office following the incident, and a wrongful death lawsuit related to Brady’s death was still pending as of 2019.
