John Grismore – Franklin County Sheriff’s Office

In August 2022, Sheriff John Grismore was fired after a video surfaced showing him kicking a detainee. He pleaded not guilty to a simple assault charge and faced investigations into his finances. In December 2024, his law enforcement capabilities were revoked, and he was banned from the national law enforcement database.
