John ‘Jack’ Martin – Clark County Department of Juvenile Justice Services

Former director of the department, accused of using racial epithets, making inappropriate remarks, and fostering an unprofessional atmosphere. Allegedly referenced the film ‘Django Unchained’ when discussing a recording of a Black youth offender being restrained by officers in 2018, stating, ‘We call that Django Unchained over here.’ Also accused of using the term ‘Polack’ to describe a staffer and making inappropriate comments about female employees. These allegations led to his termination in August 2023.
