John Wilson – Oakman Police Department

In July 2010, John Wilson was appointed as the Chief of Police for Oakman. Shortly after his appointment, he was involved in the arrests of former Police Chief Hubert Woodard and Officer Ronnie Phillips on charges including obstruction of government operations and disorderly conduct. These arrests were later challenged in court, with allegations that Wilson lacked probable cause and that the arrests were retaliatory. The charges against Woodard and Phillips were eventually dismissed, raising concerns about Wilson’s conduct during his tenure as Chief of Police.
