Jonathan Lackee – Portland Police Department

In August 2019, Officer Jonathan Lackee engaged in domestic violence stalking of a fellow officer after their relationship ended. He sent repeated, intrusive messages and used police resources to track her activities. The victim reported his behavior, leading to Lackee being placed on paid administrative leave. In April 2020, he was charged and later pleaded guilty in August 2021. As part of a plea agreement, the misdemeanor charge could be dismissed if he adhered to certain conditions. Lackee resigned from the department in December 2020, receiving a $40,000 payment from the city as part of a separation agreement.

Welcome to Police Accountability Database

Our Mission

We're building a comprehensive database of police interactions to promote accountability and transparency in law enforcement.

  • View the Blog: Read about documented police interactions
  • Share Your Experience: Submit your own police interaction story
  • Browse the Forums: Check if your local law enforcement has been documented

Important Community Guidelines

It is strictly against our rules to:

  • Make threats of any kind
  • Share private information such as personal emails, home addresses, or phone numbers

Violation of these rules will result in immediate content removal and possible account suspension.

Why This Matters

By organizing this data, we can potentially demonstrate when officers were previously aware of laws they later claim ignorance of, challenging qualified immunity defenses and promoting accountability.
