Joshua Robert Herren – Putnam County Sheriff’s Office

In November 2022, Youth Resource Deputy Joshua Robert Herren was arrested and charged with custodial sexual battery, unlawful sex with certain minors, and lewd conduct with students. The allegations date back to 2018 when the victim was a juvenile. Upon learning of the allegations, Herren resigned immediately. The case is under investigation, and efforts are underway to revoke his law enforcement certification.
