Kevin Hadley – Pine Bluff Police Department

Sergeant Kevin Hadley was terminated in December 2005 for negligence and inattention to control and security of departmental property. An investigation revealed that over 2,000 gallons of gasoline worth over $2,500 had been purchased on his department-issued gas card between January and July 2005, many during his off-duty hours. Additionally, a department-issued handgun assigned to him was found missing and later discovered during a drug search. Hadley claimed his brother had taken the gas card without his knowledge. Why This Matters

By organizing this data, we can potentially demonstrate when officers were previously aware of laws they later claim ignorance of, challenging qualified immunity defenses and promoting accountability.
