Kevin Moris – Silver Spring Police Department

In July 2019, Officer Kevin Moris was caught on camera using excessive force during the arrest of a suspect. Moris was seen smashing the suspect’s face into a curb with his knee. He was charged with second-degree assault and misconduct in office. In 2020, Moris was convicted of second-degree assault and sentenced to probation. He was fired from the Montgomery County Police Department following the incident.
