Written by In June 2021, while on duty and in uniform, Deputy Thomas sent a sexually explicit Snapchat video of himself to a woman he was involved with. After the woman attempted to end the relationship and reported his behavior in October 2022, Thomas retaliated by filing complaints against her workplace and pressing charges against her. He also distributed intimate videos of another woman without her consent between April 2022 and January 2023. Thomas was charged with misconduct in office, witness retaliation, revenge porn, and related offenses. He pleaded guilty to misconduct in office and visual surveillance with prurient intent, and was sentenced to one year in prison on January 10, 2024.
