Kyle Tholl – Nassau County Sheriff’s Office

Deputy Kyle Tholl was fired in January 2018 amid a criminal investigation into the falsification of arrest reports. Tholl, a K-9 officer with the department since 2014, was found to have falsified reports related to traffic stops, leading to the dismissal of at least seven cases by the state attorney’s office. The cases involved charges such as drug possession and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Sheriff Bill Leeper cited integrity and trust issues as the reasons for Tholl’s termination.
