Larry Roscoe – Florence County Sheriff’s Office

In 2009, Deputy Jody L. Lynch filed a federal lawsuit against the Florence County Sheriff’s Office and Lieutenant Larry Roscoe, alleging sexual harassment, civil rights violations, retaliation, and negligence. Lynch claimed that Roscoe made inappropriate sexual comments and sent explicit emails and text messages. Despite reporting the harassment to supervisors, the behavior allegedly continued, leading Lynch to seek legal action for damages including emotional distress and economic losses.
