In August 2020, Lieutenant Dooley supervised a search warrant execution at the wrong Edgehill apartment, leading to the forced entry into an innocent family’s home. An internal investigation revealed that proper verification procedures were not followed. As a result, Dooley was demoted to sergeant and suspended for 10 days without pay.
