Lieutenant Lawrence Murphy – Mercer County Sheriff’s Department

In December 2019, Lieutenant Lawrence Murphy was accused by inmate Tammy Pennington of using excessive force by applying handcuffs too tightly, leading to injury. Pennington alleged that Murphy refused to loosen the handcuffs despite her complaints.
