Lt. Paul Nahrgang – East Greenwich Police Department

In September 2013, Lt. Paul Nahrgang was found guilty of misdemeanor simple assault for an incident involving a 44-year-old suspect in a holding cell. Video evidence showed Nahrgang lunging at the suspect and grabbing him around the neck. He received a one-year filing and was ordered to attend anger management counseling.
