Matthew Cline – Benton County Sheriff’s Office

In February 2023, Deputy Matthew Cline was fired and arrested on a second-degree sexual assault charge after allegedly fondling a female colleague at work. Sheriff Shawn Holloway terminated Cline immediately upon learning of the allegation and initiated proceedings to have him decertified. Cline pleaded not guilty to the charge, and his next court hearing was scheduled for November 29, 2023.
