Michael Falconer – East Valley DUI Task Force

Former Mesa Police Officer Michael Falconer was arrested for DUI and child abuse in September 2023 after performing doughnuts in a parking lot with his 2-year-old son in the vehicle. His blood alcohol content was 0.107%. He was indicted on multiple charges and later entered a plea agreement for endangerment and DUI. Mesa Police fired him in January 2024. The Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training Board voted to take action on his certification in February 2025.
