Michael Marquardt – Longmont Police Department

In May 2019, Officer Michael Marquardt conducted warrantless drug dog searches of units in a subsidized public housing complex without obtaining supervisors’ approval. As a result, he was suspended for 30 hours without pay. The City of Longmont settled with four residents for over $200,000 due to these unauthorized searches.
