Michael Redmon – Paducah Police Department

In June 2015, Officer Michael Redmon was suspended without pay after being accused of choking a suspect, Joseph Cerullo, at Lourdes Hospital. Witnesses reported that Redmon grabbed Cerullo by the throat and lifted him against a wall. Following an investigation, the Paducah Board of Commissioners found Redmon violated police procedures by using excessive force and terminated his employment in September 2015.
