Michael Wagner – Salem Police Department

Captain Michael Wagner was indicted in 2020 on charges of making a false statement in his 2013 tax return, allegedly underreporting income from legally sold firearms purchased with his police discount. The total tax discrepancy was claimed to be $5,000. In January 2025, a jury found Wagner not guilty of the charges.
