In February 2025, Officer Morgan Lowe participated in a contentious arrest involving the use of force against William Armstrong in a Walmart parking lot. During the altercation, Lowe deployed a taser and delivered kicks to Armstrong. Both officers were placed on administrative leave as the department investigated the incident.
