Nick Mahoney – Pawnee County Sheriff’s Office

In 2022, Undersheriff Nick Mahoney was charged with felony embezzlement and false claims against the state. He allegedly used his county-issued vehicle for personal use, including commuting to an off-duty security job in Tulsa, and was accused of receiving pay for overlapping hours at the sheriff’s office and his second job. Mahoney pleaded not guilty, claiming he had permission from the sheriff to use the vehicle and attributing the pay issue to a clerical error.

Important Community Guidelines

It is strictly against our rules to:

  • Make threats of any kind
  • Share private information such as personal emails, home addresses, or phone numbers

Violation of these rules will result in immediate content removal and possible account suspension.

Why This Matters

By organizing this data, we can potentially demonstrate when officers were previously aware of laws they later claim ignorance of, challenging qualified immunity defenses and promoting accountability.
