Former Sergeant Nisha King was terminated in August 2022 following two incidents of sexual harassment. In July 2022, she made inappropriate gestures with flag stands, making officers uncomfortable. Two months prior, she inappropriately touched a victim services program coordinator in the break room. An investigation corroborated these incidents, and her dishonesty during the investigation contributed to her termination. The Utah Court of Appeals upheld her dismissal in 2024.
