Officer Bartlett – Juneau Police Department

In July 2019, off-duty Officer Bartlett rear-ended a vehicle on North Douglas Highway while driving under the influence, resulting in injuries to the other driver. Bartlett’s blood alcohol content was 0.239, approximately three times the legal limit. He pleaded guilty to charges of driving under the influence and assault. A lawsuit was filed against the City and Borough of Juneau and the Juneau Police Department, alleging negligent hiring, training, and supervision of Bartlett. Important Community Guidelines

It is strictly against our rules to:

  • Make threats of any kind
  • Share private information such as personal emails, home addresses, or phone numbers

Violation of these rules will result in immediate content removal and possible account suspension.

Why This Matters

By organizing this data, we can potentially demonstrate when officers were previously aware of laws they later claim ignorance of, challenging qualified immunity defenses and promoting accountability.
