Officer Brendan Danaher – Bloomfield Police Department

In 2017, Officer Danaher falsely arrested Lauren Haidon for custodial interference, despite her having legal custody and consent to relocate her daughter. A federal jury in December 2023 found Danaher liable for false arrest and malicious prosecution, awarding Haidon $1.5 million in damages. The jury determined Danaher conspired with Haidon’s ex-husband to secure the arrest without probable cause.
