In March 2022, Officer Brenden Foster was involved in the arrest of Tristen Quinn. During the incident, Quinn was tased and sustained injuries. A video from a nearby convenience store showed Quinn being kicked and punched while lying on the ground in handcuffs. The Wetumpka Police Department conducted an internal investigation and cleared Officer Foster of any wrongdoing.
