In 2011, Officer Darron Hunter was named in an EEOC charge alleging sexual harassment and retaliation by a fellow officer. The complainant alleged that after filing the charge, she faced suspension and a pay decrease. The case, Corder v. Bessemer Police Department, was filed in 2014 and dismissed in 2015.
