Officer Gage Gardiner – St. George Police Department

In March 2019, Officer Gage Gardiner participated in the response to Benjamin Joseph ‘Joey’ Herold’s mental health crisis. Herold was forcefully taken to the ground and restrained during the incident. Herold filed a federal civil rights lawsuit alleging excessive force and inadequate training by the department.
