Officer Karlen – Aberdeen Police Department

In November 1980, while off duty, Officer Karlen used marijuana on at least two occasions. The Aberdeen Civil Service Board found that his removal was made in good faith for cause but modified the termination to a seven-week suspension without pay, after which he was reinstated.
