In a 2020 lawsuit, Officer Kennedy was accused of making inappropriate comments to a female plaintiff during a May 5, 2018 incident. The plaintiff alleged that Kennedy threatened her with sexual assault while she was in an ambulance. The case also claimed that the Wilton Police Department failed to investigate her complaints adequately.
