Officer Shipp – Albertville Police Department

In 2011, Officer Shipp was involved in the fatal shooting of Chris Jones during a police pursuit. Shipp fired multiple shots at Jones through the windshield of his patrol car. A lawsuit alleged excessive use of force, but the court granted summary judgment in favor of Shipp, determining that his actions were objectively reasonable given the situation.
