Officer Woodall – Calhoun Community College Police Department

In 2021, Officer Woodall was involved in the arrest of Mr. Reynolds, during which he deployed his taser twice. The first tasing occurred as Reynolds was exiting his vehicle and beginning to kneel, while the second happened when Reynolds was already on the ground and surrounded by multiple officers. A lawsuit alleged that these actions constituted excessive force. The court found that a reasonable jury could conclude that both instances of tasing were excessive, and thus, Woodall was not entitled to qualified immunity for these actions.

Important Community Guidelines

It is strictly against our rules to:

  • Make threats of any kind
  • Share private information such as personal emails, home addresses, or phone numbers

Violation of these rules will result in immediate content removal and possible account suspension.

Why This Matters

By organizing this data, we can potentially demonstrate when officers were previously aware of laws they later claim ignorance of, challenging qualified immunity defenses and promoting accountability.
