Randy Cook – Topsham Police Department

In November 2020, Officer Randy Cook, a school resource officer at Mt. Ararat High School, was accused of unlawful sexual touching involving a 17-year-old student. He resigned from the department on November 10, 2020. In February 2022, Cook pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault and was sentenced to seven days in jail and a $300 fine. The original charge of unlawful sexual touching was dismissed.
