Roger Golubski – Kansas City Police Department

Former Detective Roger Golubski faced multiple felony charges for allegedly sexually assaulting Black women and violating their civil rights over several decades. In December 2024, just as his federal trial was set to begin, Golubski died in an apparent suicide by gunshot while under house arrest. His death led to the dismissal of charges, frustrating victims and advocates seeking justice.
