San Antonio Police Officer Suspended for Repeated Speeding Violations

San Antonio Police Officer Elliott E. Torres has been suspended for 45 days after being found to have driven at excessive speeds nearly 100 times while operating his patrol vehicle. In some instances, he was transporting detainees without proper safety measures. Despite prior warnings and audits of his driving behavior, Torres continued to exceed speed limits without activating emergency lights or sirens, and failed to come to complete stops when required. His suspension began on February 26 and will conclude on April 11.San Antonio Express-News

  • Share Your Experience: Submit your own police interaction story
  • Browse the Forums: Check if your local law enforcement has been documented

Important Community Guidelines

It is strictly against our rules to:

  • Make threats of any kind
  • Share private information such as personal emails, home addresses, or phone numbers

Violation of these rules will result in immediate content removal and possible account suspension.

Why This Matters

By organizing this data, we can potentially demonstrate when officers were previously aware of laws they later claim ignorance of, challenging qualified immunity defenses and promoting accountability.
