Sgt. Art Musser – Asotin County Sheriff’s Office

In May 2021, Sgt. Art Musser was accused of excessive use of force against an inmate in the Asotin County Jail. Following an investigation by the Nez Perce County Sheriff’s Office, the Washington State Attorney General’s Office filed a second-degree assault charge against him in September 2022. Sgt. Musser was placed on unpaid administrative leave effective September 8, 2022.
