In 2019, Sgt. Ray Webb was accused of sexual harassment by Deputy Teresa O’Brien. Allegations included sending lewd text messages, such as a picture of a bed with stained sheets, and propositions for sex. Webb was also reported to be intoxicated at work and made inappropriate comments. The lawsuit filed by O’Brien claimed a culture of sexual banter and discrimination against female employees within the Sheriff’s Office.
