Sheriff Bruce Pennington – Saline County Sheriff’s Office

In 2015, former Sheriff Bruce Pennington was sentenced to one year and one day in prison for wire fraud. He misused campaign funds to pay for personal expenses charged to his Sheriff’s Office Visa card. Pennington held the office from 2008 until his resignation in October 2013. The case was investigated by the FBI’s Ark Trust Public Corruption Task Force.
