In 2018, Sheriff Lance Benedict was implicated in a sexual harassment lawsuit filed by his secretary, Ms. Minarsky. The lawsuit alleged that Benedict’s subordinate, Chief Clerk Yadlosky, engaged in persistent sexual harassment over four years, including unwanted touching and explicit emails.
