Sheriff Thomas Dougherty – Livingston County Sheriff’s Office

In 2017, Sheriff Dougherty was accused of failing to provide timely assistance to an individual in distress at Fallbrook Falls. Despite being physically and mentally capable of aiding the individual, he allegedly chose not to assist until another officer arrived. This delay, along with subsequent actions to conceal his inaction, led to allegations of negligence and dereliction of duty.

Important Community Guidelines

It is strictly against our rules to:

  • Make threats of any kind
  • Share private information such as personal emails, home addresses, or phone numbers

Why This Matters

By organizing this data, we can potentially demonstrate when officers were previously aware of laws they later claim ignorance of, challenging qualified immunity defenses and promoting accountability.
