Tanuj Soni – Renton Police Department

In August 2019, Officer Tanuj Soni was charged with fourth-degree assault with sexual motivation and abuse of office. He allegedly contacted a woman involved in a case he was handling, invited her to a park under the pretense of discussing her case, and engaged in inappropriate conduct, including physical assault. Soni was placed on administrative leave pending investigations.
