Terrance Calloway – Tuskegee University Campus Police

Former Police Chief Terrance Calloway was named in a wrongful death lawsuit following a mass shooting on campus during Homecoming weekend in November 2024. The lawsuit alleges that Calloway had prior knowledge of multiple violent incidents on campus, including previous gun discharges and threats, yet failed to implement adequate security measures. As a result, 18-year-old La’Tavion Johnson was killed, and 16 others were injured. Calloway was subsequently terminated from his position following the incident.
