Thomas Corliss – Quincy Police Department

In 2016, Lieutenant Thomas Corliss was charged with 12 counts of mail fraud and one count of embezzling from the City of Quincy and the Quincy Police Department. He was accused of defrauding the city by overlapping taxpayer-funded police shifts with private details, taking unrecorded vacation time, and submitting false overtime pay requests. The indictment alleged that Corliss intentionally defrauded the city to obtain approximately $11,000 in pay between March and September of 2015. He was suspended without pay and faced federal charges.
