Tyke Hunt – Charleston Police Department

Former Chief of Police Tyke Hunt faced allegations of sexual misconduct. In August 2023, former officer Chelsea McCoy filed a complaint alleging that Hunt pressured her into sexual activities during her application process in exchange for passing her polygraph test. McCoy also claimed that during her second tenure, Hunt, then Chief, engaged in sexual activities with her in his office. Hunt resigned in August 2023 following these allegations.
